CIRCLES & HEARTS

CIRCLES & HEARTS is a very personal Mixed Media Modern Mosaic series, that begins with the loss of my mom and the circle of life. I get lost in the repetition of pattern and texture using mostly a monochromatic palette to create a vibrant piece in a uniformed square. There is a little bit of my mom in every piece, each tells a very personal story of love and life.

I love the visual impact of a space filled with little stories that can be displayed in a grouping or stand alone as an individual piece. I am so attracted to color & texture and as this work began, a circle became the starting place for each piece. My mom was a collector of beautiful objects, so I took apart things she left behind to be incorporated into art.

Each piece measures 12" X 12" and can be purchased individually or put together as a grouping, in a grid covering an entire wall, a horizontal or vertical presentation, or singularly they stand alone. No two pieces are alike, as they were created from archaic and modern materials of both common and uncommon nature. Collecting these pieces are good energy for your home because they are authentic, truthful and filled with love & positive energy at heart.
