"Blossom"

This piece is a Susan Wechsler original from the ‘Circle Series’:

CIRCLES is a new Mixed Media Modern Mosaic series, that begins with the loss of my mom and the circle of life.  I get lost in the repetition of pattern and texture using mostly a monochromatic palette to create a vibrant piece in a uniformed square.  There is a little bit of my mom in every piece, each tells a very personal story of love and life.

 I love the visual impact of a space filled with little stories that can be displayed in a grouping or stand alone as an individual piece.  I am so attracted to color & texture and as I began this work, a circle became the starting place for each piece.  My mom was a collector of beautiful objects, so I took apart things she left behind to be incorporated into my art.

Each piece measures 12" X 12"  and can be purchased individually or put together as a grouping,  in a grid covering an entire wall, a horizontal or vertical presentation, or singularly they stand alone.
